A grammar is a pattern matching language that expresses the relationship between an identifier and a set of resources.

Grammars bind an endpoint into an address space. The endpoint will evaluate a request identifier using the grammar to determine if it resolves a request. A grammar can also support identifier construction and extraction of argument parts.

For more information about how grammars are used in standard modules see Standard Module Grammars.
